Ohio State football is adding a transfer wide receiver to its 2026 roster
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football landed a commitment from transfer wide receiver Devin McCuin on Wednesday.
He spent the previous three seasons at UTSA where he collected 152 receptions for 1,696 yards and 16 touchdowns.
McCuin — a native of Jacksonville, Texas — was a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class who signed with the Roadrunners.
As a freshman, he appeared in 12 games with seven starts, collecting 42 receptions for 546 yards and three touchdowns. He followed that up with 45 receptions for 424 yards as a sophomore in 2024.
McCuin is coming to Ohio State off his best campaign. He caught 65 passes for 726 yards and eight touchdowns this season en route to third-team All-American Conference honors.

McCuin finished the 2025 season with 65 catches for 726 yards, eight touchdowns and 11.2 yards per catch. In his career, McCuin has 152 catches for 1,696 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11.2 yards per catch.
As a member of the Class of 2023, McCuin was a three-star recruit out of Jacksonville (Texas) High, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He was the No. 146 overall prospect in the state, the No. 33 athlete in the class and the No. 859 overall prospect in the class.
