Former Midlothian ISD substitute teacher accused of child sex crimes
MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – A former substitute teacher for Midlothian ISD has been arrested and charged with felonies relating to child sex abuse.
The school district confirmed that she's done work with them this year, but the charges don't appear to be related to their schools.
Madison Paige Jones, 30, is accused of possession of child pornography, indecency with a child, and aggravated sexual assault with a child. She was arrested in Midlothian on Friday.
Midlothian ISD confirmed to FOX 4 in a statement that Jones had worked for their schools as a substitute teacher, but only worked four days in the past year. She worked at Heritage High School on Nov. 19, the district said. Along with Heritage, Jones also subbed at Baxter Elementary, the district said.
Texas substitute teacher, boyfriend charged in child sexual assault investigation
A former Texas substitute teacher and her boyfriend have been arrested for having inappropriate sexual contact with a child and possession of child porn.
Madison Paige Jones, 30, was hit with one charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact, and one count of possession of child pornography following her arrest in Midlothian on Dec. 19, police said.
She was booked into the Ellis County Jail with a $90,000 bond.
Police said that Jones, who substituted for the Midlothian Independent School District, had not committed the alleged crimes at district schools or involving any district students.

Substitute teacher, boyfriend charged in Midlothian child sexual assault investigation, police say
Midlothian police have arrested two people in connection with an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a child.
According to the Midlothian Police Department, patrol officers were called on Wednesday, Dec. 17, to investigate a report of a possible sexual assault involving a child. The initial investigation led to the arrest of 30-year-old Madison Jones, a substitute teacher, who has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, along with several additional related offenses, police said.
According to the Midlothian Independent School District, Jones worked as a substitute teacher in the district four times during the past 12 months, including at Heritage High School on Nov. 19 and Baxter Elementary School on Oct. 28, Oct. 29 and Nov. 3.
