Conservative activist says TCU silenced her-now Ken Paxton is involved
Conservative detransitioner activist Chloe Cole accused Texas Christian University of denying her Turning Point USA-tied speaking event, a claim the university is now pushing back against.
Cole took to X on Tuesday evening, lauding a recent speaking event at Michigan-based Hillsdale College, while condemning what she described as Texas Christian University's decision to cancel her appearance.
"The first college to actually thank me for speaking on their campus instead of cancelling me like @TCU just did!" Cole wrote on X. "Christian colleges (and otherwise) need to step up to keep democracy and free speech alive in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination." Attached to the post was a second one with a promotional graphic for the upcoming event, which has relocated to Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
