Is this Prince Harry or David Brent in The Office? Either way, we’re watching a masterclass in awkwardness

The wayward prince and his wife seem to be aiming for a reboot – searching for purpose, but not self-awareness

Senate staffers stood five deep to get a glimpse; women materialised from every corner, more glamorously dressed for the office than usual. The future British monarch is no longer being prepared, indeed, he is being empowered as the King knows his time is about managing the transition, not holding on to everything.
