It has all paid off for the Knights over the last month.
That is how long it has been — with the addition of a few days — since Tortorella took over as coach for the fired Bruce Cassidy. During that time, the Knights had a successful enough run that ended the regular season with a Pacific Division title and just captured a first-round playoff series against Utah in six games.
