Selection Sunday is just three days away, and with March Madness quickly approaching, things are becoming clearer as the SEC Tournament reaches its quarterfinal round on Friday.

In his latest offering, two SEC teams have seen their stock slip: the Georgia Bulldogs, who slipped one seed down to No. 8 in the West, and the Texas Longhorns, who fell to a No. 11 seed in the West and are clinging for dear life.

The SEC Tournament has reached its quarterfinal round as March Madness continues to spread across the sports world.
The latest results from the tourney have shaken things up a little bit for a few lower-seeded league teams in USA TODAY Sports' latest bracketology update, while the Florida Gators remain the top school in the conference.
"Auburn had a chance to punch its NCAA ticket by beating Tennessee but couldn’t stop freshman Nate Ament, who returned from injury after missing about two weeks and poured in 27 points in the Volunteers’ 72-62 win," the authors offer. "Missouri lost 78-72 to Kentucky and is now on the wrong side of the bubble."
