Next SpaceX rocket launch from Cape Canaveral set for Tuesday afternoon
(Update: This launch was delayed until no earlier than 6:04 p.m. Tues. Feb. 24.)
Having just sent a batch of Starlink satellites to orbit Saturday night, SpaceX shows no signs of slowing down the pace and is now targeting Tuesday afternoon for its next rocket launch from Cape Canaveral.
The Falcon 9 rocket is set to take off now no earlier than 6:04 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission, titled Starlink 6-110, is SpaceX's next batch of Starlink internet satellites.
SpaceX has until 7:56 p.m. to make the liftoff if needed.
After leaving the launch pad, the rocket will fly on a southeast trajectory. The booster will target landing on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship, which will be stationed out on the Atlantic Ocean. No Brevard County sonic booms will be heard.

SpaceX’s Tuesday twilight Falcon 9 rocket launch sends 29 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit
Update Feb. 24, 7:10 p.m. EST (0010 UTC): SpaceX confirms deployment of the 29 Starlink satellites.
SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket late Tuesday afternoon with a batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites onboard. The twilight flight from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station was the company’s 18th launch of the year supporting its broadband internet satellite constellation.
The Starlink 6-110 mission sent another 29 satellites into low Earth orbit. Prior to liftoff, SpaceX had more than 9,700 Starlink satellites in space, according to stats maintained by expert orbital tracker and astronomer, Jonathan McDowell.
Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 40 happened at 6:04:10 p.m. EST (2304:10 UTC). The Falcon 9 rocket flew on a south-easterly trajectory upon leaving Florida’s Space Coast.
