Suns’ Dillon Brooks selected to Charles Barkley’s NBA All-Star reserve team
ESPN’s Inside the NBA analyst and former Phoenix Sun Charles Barkley made sure to include forward Dillon Brooks in his NBA All-Star reserves team for the Western Conference, he told SiriusXM NBA Radio in an interview released Wednesday.
A day before the former Suns forward and the rest of the ESPN’s Inside the NBA cast reveal their seven reserve selections for each conference, Barkley made sure to credit Brooks for the impact he’s having in Phoenix.
“I put Dillon Brooks on my team,” Barkley said. “What Dillon Brooks is doing for the Phoenix Suns is similar and comparable to what Draymond (Green) did for the Warriors when they were rolling and he was like the third or fourth All-Star.”

Barkley says All-Star bench includes Suns' Brooks; 5 names to consider
During Barkley's appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio's "NBA Today" show Wednesday, Jan. 28, he supported the Phoenix Suns' fiery defender but didn't mention the Suns' four-time All-Star and top scorer, Devin Booker.
The All-Star Game is at the Los Angeles Clippers' Intuit Dome on Sunday, Feb. 15.
Barkley told NBA Today co-hosts Justin Termine and Barkley's ex-teammate Eddie Johnson that Brooks "deserves a lot of credit (for) what's happening in Phoenix."
