Diego Pavia always felt like one of those quarterbacks who was going to be much more impressive in college football than in the NFL.
His official height measurement at the Senior Bowl may have just confirmed that.
Pavia measured 5 feet, 9 inches and seven-eighths of an inch, or 5-9.88.
That's about as short as you'll get for a modern quarterback.

The Panini Senior Bowl has released official heights and weights for players in this year’s game in Mobile, and there were a few eye-openers on the list.
Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia checked in a 5-foot-9 7/8 and 198 pounds. He was officially listed by the Commodores at 6-feet, 207 (it’s not uncommon for players to lose weight during post-season training, but Pavia’s height — or lack thereof — is definitely notable for a pro quarterback prospect).
Among in-state players, the biggest discrepancy was Alabama defensive end LT Overton, who checked in at 6-2 ¾, 278. The Crimson Tide listed him at 6-5 on its roster.

The 2026 Senior Bowl official measurements have filtered in for the game that takes place on Saturday, January 31st. The game will kick off at 1:30 pm (CST) from Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. It will be broadcast live on NFL Network.
