Report: Nico Collins will not play on Sunday
The Texans know that they will be playing a postseason game next weekend, but where they’ll be playing it and as what seed remains up in the air in Week 18.
It appears that they are prioritizing being at full strength for that playoff game over having all hands on deck against the Colts on Sunday, however. Jane Slater of NFL Media reports that wide receiver Nico Collins will not play against Indianapolis.
Collins was on the injury report this week, but it was due to rest rather than a physical ailment. Collins does not have an injury designation for the game.

The Houston Texans will reportedly rest wide receiver Nico Collins in their regular-season finale against the Indianapolis Colts.
Several outlets reported Collins will be a healthy scratch. Collins has 71 catches for 1,117 yards and 6 touchdowns this season. He had 5 catches for 98 yards, and a 7-yard rushing touchdown on Nov. 30 in a win over the Colts.
The Colts have said cornerback Sauce Gardner won't play today. He came to the Colts in a mid-season trade and is under contract through the 2030 season.

Texans' Nico Collins: Expected to rest in Week 18
The Texans are planning on resting Collins ahead of the postseason and are expected to make him a healthy scratch for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Colts, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Though they can still clinch the AFC South on Sunday with a win over the Colts and a loss by the heavily favored Jaguars to the 3-13 Titans, the Texans will instead prioritize their top wideout's health in Week 18 rather than potentially exposing him to an injury in the pursuit of an unlikely bid for a division title. Even if Houston ends up making Collins active for the contest, he still wouldn't appear likely to play any snaps. Expect the Texans to proceed with Jayden Higgins, Jaylin Noel, Christian Kirk and Xavier Hutchinson as their main options at receiver against Indianapolis.
