Man shot and killed in car in North Philly on Monday night, police say
A man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia just before 8 p.m. on Monday night, police said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at the 3600 block of North 17th Street at 7:57 p.m., where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a 2008 silver Nissan Maxima, police said.
The man, who police identified on Tuesday as Dion Travis Abraham, 39, of Abington, was suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and legs, according to police.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said Abraham was pronounced at about 8:25 p.m. on Monday.

A man was shot and killed in Philadelphia's Tioga section Monday night, police said.
Police said the man was found inside a car on the 3600 block of North 17th Street with multiple gunshot wounds just before 8 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:25 p.m., according to police.
Police on Tuesday said the victim was Dion Travis Abraham, 39, of Abington, Pennsylvania.
