The actor in question? Jordi Vilasuso, most recently seen on soaps as Rey Rosales on Y&R from 2018 until 2022.
Vilasuso burst onto the soap scene 25 years ago when he was cast as Tony Santos on Guiding Light. He exited the show in 2003, the same year he nabbed a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor. His next daytime gig was on All My Children, where he portrayed Griffin Castillo from 2010-11. After AMC’s cancellation, it was revived online for a spell in 2013, and Vilasuso returned as Griffin for the reboot. Next, from 2016-17, he played the role of shady Dario Hernandez on DAYS.
