Lincoln – Sophomores Amiah Hargrove and Britt Prince both recorded double-doubles to lead Nebraska to a 104-40 women's basketball exhibition win over Mount Marty on Friday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Hargrove, a 6-2 forward from Christopher, Ill., pumped in a game-high 26 points and pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds for the Big Red, while Prince pitched in 14 points and a game-high 10 assists.

Hargrove, who knocked down 6-of-8 three-pointers, was joined in a 20-point performance by senior guard Callin Hake, who finished with 22 points and also connected on 6-of-8 threes.

Hargrove and Hake led a Big Red barrage from beyond the arc that included 19-of-39 three-point shooting as a team. It was the most three-pointers that a Nebraska team has ever hit in a home game.

Huskers clear 100 in exhibition game

Nebraska women’s basketball first showing to the public was impressive, as the Cornhuskers throttled NAIA school Mount Marty 104-40 Friday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena in the Cornhuskers’ lone exhibition game.

Amiah Hargrove led Nebraska with a double-double: 26 points and 10 rebounds. She shot 10-for-15 from the field, including six-for-eight from behind the arc. Britt Prince also turned in a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists. Callin Hake tallied 22 points shooting a blistering six-for-eight from three-point range. Claire Johnson scored 11 in her Husker debut while adding six assists, while Petra Bozan pitched in 11 points and eight rebounds. Lacey Sprakel led the Lancers with 14 points and eight rebounds, but no other Mount Marty player scored more than six points.
