Fatalities reported after small plane crashes in Lafayette Parish
LAFAYETTE PARISH —- Multiple agencies are currently in route to a small plane crash that happened Tuesday.
The plane crashed near Gloria Switch Rd. and Hwy. 93 in Lafayette Parish around 11 a.m. on Oct. 21st, sources tell UWK.
Early reports indicate three people have died in the plane crash, the pilot and two passengers.
The plane is reported to be a Beechcraft Baron having left Houston, TX around 9:50 a.m. from Hooks Memorial Airport. It’s unclear where the plane was headed but the flight path ends near Cankton.
