Dry stretch continues with slim chance of rain this weekend in Metro Detroit

Our lawns are brown, and our mums are dying for a drink of water from Mother Nature.
However, we will have to wait a bit longer before any rain is expected in the forecast.
Another mild night with clear skies and temps staying around 60 degrees.
Warm, sunny weather is expected to continue through the rest of the week, with highs well above normal in the low to mid-80s.
Most of the weekend stays dry, with the only chance of rain coming on Sunday evening.

A few areas of fog are possible again Wednesday morning, otherwise skies will be mostly sunny across Metro Detroit. Temperatures continue to climb with highs peaking in the low to mid 80s.
Mostly sunny skies continue Thursday with highs in the low to mid 80s again. A weak cold front will drop through Thursday evening, which could bring a small chance for rain, however the chance is very low at this time.
Mostly to partly sunny skies continue Friday and Saturday with highs in the mid 70s, to near 80°. Rain chances increase late Sunday and into next week.

Metro Detroit weather: 80s continue before more seasonal temps return to end the week
Above seasonal temperatures continue today with plenty of sunshine. Cooler with rain by the weekend. Meteorologist Lori Pinson has your forecast.
Unlike other mornings, fog is not a widespread concern. Reports of patchy fog are confined to our north, near Bay City and Port Huron.
Temperatures are seasonal this morning with lows in the 50s. Our average start would be around 56 degrees. Many cities this morning report readings within the low to mid 50s.
High temperatures will remain above the norm. Yesterday we topped out at 82 with a repeat performance expected today. The 80 degree days extend until the end of the week, when temperatures fall to more seasonal values, back to the 70s.
