Ravens' Wiggins sent off field after fight with Colts
ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley details why Nate Wiggins was removed from practice after a fight with the Colts. (0:36)
OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Baltimore Ravens starting cornerback Nate Wiggins was removed from Tuesday's joint practice after throwing punches in a sideline-clearing fight between the Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.
During a punt drill 90 minutes into practice, Ravens cornerback Keyon Martin shoved Colts running back Tyler Goodson at the end of the play where Martin had been blocking Goodson. When Goodson retaliated, Wiggins sprinted from the sideline and landed several shots to the body of Goodson.
Players from both teams, who weren't involved in the drill, swarmed the players, and it took time to separate the pile in the middle of the field.
News & Notes: Where Lamar Jackson Sees Offense After Joint Practice With Colts
Tuesday's joint practice against the Indianapolis Colts was a chance for Lamar Jackson to lead the first-team offense against another opponent.
Jackson was in excellent sync with his tight ends, connecting with Mark Andrews twice in the red zone for touchdowns, and making several completions to Charlie Kolar. However, Jackson was also intercepted late in practice, as was backup quarterback Cooper Rush.
While Jackson is happy with what he's seeing from Baltimore's offense, he believes there's still work to do.
"It was great work against a good defense," Jackson said. "I think overall it was a good day. We get great work out of these type of practices.

Colts’ camp star AD Mitchell torches Ravens in joint practice … and let them hear about it – The Athletic
OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Anthony Richardson didn’t hesitate. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback knew where he wanted to go with the football, so when the window opened, he ripped it. Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce, running a skinny post down the left sideline, caught the ball in stride for about a 20-yard gain before skirting out of bounds.
That was Richardson’s first throw in what turned out to be a strong 11-on-11 performance during Tuesday’s joint practice against the Baltimore Ravens. It was also a reminder of how much has changed … or at least the Colts hope.
Last year, when the Colts went on the road for a joint practice in Cincinnati, it was a nightmare for the 2023 No. 4 pick. Richardson finished 10-of-20 passing during 11-on-11, and the Bengals defenders openly mocked him.
