OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The struggling Baltimore Ravens are getting healthier, but they will still be without quarterback Lamar Jackson for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, was ruled out Friday by Baltimore for the second straight week with a hamstring injury. He has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring in Kansas City on Sept. 28.

Since Jackson became the Ravens' starting quarterback in 2018, Baltimore is 4-11 (.363) when Jackson hasn't played. The Ravens have lost their past five games without Jackson and have failed to score more than 17 points in each of those games.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ruled out for Week 6 matchup against Rams; Cooper Rush will start again

The Baltimore Ravens will be without Lamar Jackson for a second straight week after the quarterback was ruled out for Week 6 with a hamstring injury.

Jackson suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs and has not practiced or played since.

Prior to Week 5, Jackson had not missed a game due to injury since the 2023 season. He'll get an extra week of recovery time next week when the Ravens go on their bye before their Oct. 26 game against the Chicago Bears.

Cooper Rush, who started for the two-time NFL MVP last week against the Houston Texans, will once again be under center for the 1-4 Ravens. Rush went 14 for 20 for 179 yards and three interceptions in the 44-10 defeat.

Lamar Jackson injury update: Ravens QB out again as Baltimore looks to snap losing streak vs. Rams

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss his second straight game as he was officially ruled out Friday for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Jackson, who missed last week's 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans with a hamstring injury, did not practice all week. His absence means backup Cooper Rush will once start under center for a Baltimore team mired in a three-game losing streak and off to its worst start (1-4) since 2015.

The 31-year-old Rush struggled against Houston, completing 14 of 20 passes for 179 yards and three interceptions as the Ravens were outgained in total yards 417-207. He will again be tasked with leading a struggling offense that has scored just 30 combined points over its last two games.
