According to a report published Wednesday by HomeAbroad, Reading and Lancaster were the second and third fastest-selling housing markets in the U.S., respectively. Lancaster was actually recognized last year as being the number one fastest-selling housing market in the Keystone State.
HomeAbroad determined these markets by assessing over 925 metro areas no Realtor.com’s proprietary database from July 2016 to May 2025. Researchers then calculated the median number of days a home was on a market between the home’s initial listing and contract signing for properties.
