U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar will move out of her Washington, D.C., home that federal agents searched last week, she said Wednesday, noting that attention brought on by the raid has made her feel unsafe there.

Federal authorities are investigating potential fraud in her family's immigration paperwork and have issued grand jury subpoenas to some of her relatives, a person briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation.

Rep. Ilhan Omar's 'real name' being questioned amid federal investigation: report

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Ilhan Omar is allegedly not the Minnesota congresswoman's "real name," according to a report.

Citing two unnamed sources, Fox News Digital on Thursday said it confirmed the Somali-born politician has been using a name other than her birth name.

The media outlet noted that a former Minnesota federal immigration judge said if it is proven in court that Omar has lived her "entire lives under an alias," every form she ever filled out could be "called into question."

New court filings from U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro show investigators identified the Democrat as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar."

Why you should be VERY suspicious of Ilhan Omar’s latest plea for cash

Wow: After a week of silence about the FBI raid on her DC home, Rep. Ilhan Omar surfaced . . . to ask for cash.

In her video appeal to supporters, the Minnesota Democrat says she’s living “paycheck to paycheck” — raising eyebrows about what happened to the millions in wealth that she and hubby Tim Mynett declared two years ago, only to drop the estimate to near-nothing last year.

Mynett, whom she married (hubby No. 3, we think) after her campaign paid one of his companies big-time for consulting work, has seen two of his other firms — a direct-to-consumer wine biz and a venture-capital partnership — face federal scrutiny, since the valuation of the firms is at the heart of the now-you-don’t-see-it fortune.
