Trump’s rally sprint had flavors of a farewell tour, MAGA crowds and an unexpected closing message
As President Donald Trump closes out the midterm election season with a sprint through ruby red America, his message to voters has veered into some unexpected places.
More than ever before, his stops have been remarkable because theyâre about one thing: Trump himself. His message to voters is to pretend heâs on the ballot, no matter how unpopular heâs become. Concerns about the direction of the country, or the cost of living, are mostly shoved to the side.
Jetting on Air Force One to states not considered competitive even a few months ago, Trump has privately reflected that the rallies heâs holding now are likely the last where heâs the partyâs standard-bearer.
WATCH: Trump rallies in Iowa as part of final push before Election Day

But in Iowa, Trump insisted Republicans were on the verge of sweeping victories on Election Day on Tuesday.
