Giant cranberry baseball glove cheering on Brewers
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) – Wisconsin cranberry growers took a break from harvesting to show support for the Milwaukee Brewers with a giant cranberry baseball glove. They’re wishing the team berry good luck at the World Series.
Fawn Gottschalk, president of Gottschalk Cranberry, said the idea came together recently.
“This was sort of a figment of an imagination late last week after the Brewers clinched the National League title,” Gottschalk said.
Gottschalk is a third-generation farmer and lifelong Brewers fan. She’ll be at American Family Field on Friday.
“I was four the last time the Brewers went to the World Series. And this might not happen again in my lifetime. So, I am very excited,” Gottschalk said.
