What you need to know about the 2026 World Series
We are mere days away from the culmination of the 2026 MLB season: The World Series presented by Capital One.
Here is what you need to know to get set for the 122nd edition of the Fall Classic.
All games in the best-of-seven series will be aired on FOX and FOX Deportes. It will also be streamed on FOX One.
What a ride it’s been for the Brewers. Milwaukee won a franchise-record 103 games in the regular season, leading the Majors in wins for a second straight season. The Brewers took down the Padres in four games in the NLDS to set up a rematch in the NLCS with the Dodgers. A year after Los Angeles swept on the Brewers en route to a second straight World Series title, Milwaukee flipped the script in 2026, sweeping the Dodgers in four games.

MLB announces full World Series schedule that will have Brewers fans delighted
For the first time in 44 years, the World Series is returning to Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Brewers, in historic fashion, swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series and now await the winner of the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series.
The American League Championship Series, which was delayed last night due to poor weather in the Cleveland area, currently favors the Guardians by a series score of 2-1 and could last until Tuesday — five days after the Brewers closed out the Dodgers in the NLCS. Additionally, after last night's postponement, the Guardians and Rays will no longer have the scheduled off-day between Games 5 and 6 should the series last that long. Therefore, there's a possibility that whomever the Brewers face in the World Series will have played four games in four days before having just two days off prior to the start of the Fall Classic.
