Idaho shocks FCS No. 1 Montana State on final play, 2-point conversion

For the first time in Idaho’s history, the Vandals have taken down the FCS No. 1 team.

Thanks to a Joshua Wood 25-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass and a 2-point conversion on the last play, 0-4 Idaho shocked Montana State, overthrowing the defending FCS national champions 35-34 in Moscow.

Idaho rallied from a 14-point fourth quarter deficit, dishing out a loss that brought the Bobcats’ 19-game winning streak to a sudden end. Montana State’s last Big Sky loss was against in-state rival Montana in 2023.

The Vandals have always protected the Kibbie Dome versus Montana State, remaining undefeated against the Bobcats at home since 1990, including a 24-21 win in 2023 when Montana State was ranked No. 2.

The dynamic landscape of current events often brings forth significant discussions. Monitoring these developments provides crucial insights.
