Tropical Storm Fay, after degenerating last Tuesday, redeveloped into a tropical storm on Thursday evening. On Sunday, the storm's maximum sustained dropped to 35 mph as it moved south at 3 mph in the Atlantic to the far east of Bermuda.

Fay is expected to continue to slowly weaken over the next few days and does not present any threats to land.

Meanwhile, the trough of low pressure, located east of Bermuda on Sunday, has been given a 30% chance of developing in the next two days and a 40% chance in the next seven days, according to the National Hurricane Center.
