Former WWE Champion Lands Role in ABC Drama Series Starring Scott Speedman
A former Undisputed WWE Champion has landed a new acting role, one that will put him alongside Grey's Anatomy actor Scott Speedman.
PWInsider recently reported that CM Punk (real name Phillip Brooks) has been cast in R.J. Decker, an ABC crime drama currently in the midst of season 2. Punk filmed his scenes in Florida, and on Sept. 22, they're coming to the television screen.
A sneak peak of Tuesday night's episode of R.J. Decker, titled "Manos: Hands of Fate," confirmed Punk as a guest star. The video clip showed Punk sitting on a beach, with a crown tattoo indicating his character as a member of the Red Kings. His character, whose name is still not known, eventually gets into a confrontation with Aloysius "Wish" Aiken, played by Kevin Rankin, as well.

CM Punk Confirmed To Guest Star On 9/22 Episode Of ‘RJ Decker’
CM Punk will be on Tuesday’s episode of ‘RJ Decker’.
Earlier this month, PWInsider issued a report saying that Punk filmed a role for the second season of ABC’s ‘RJ Decker’ series. That report was confirmed on Tuesday, when the show’s social media account posted a preview clip that announced Punk as the guest star for the September 22 episode.
The show will air on ABC and Hulu at 10 PM ET.
