Cooper Webb has vowed to make sure teammate Haiden Deegan does not win the SuperMotocross title after their Los Angeles clash left the former Supercross champion accusing the youngster of having “no respect for anybody else”.
Deegan admitted he had ridden Webb “a little dirty” and apologised, but also defended his desperation to secure every position in the three-round championship. He had already fallen in the sand, where Ken Roczen then made contact with him before the move that put Webb on the deck so Deegan had it all going on… Describing the earlier incident, Deegan complained that “some goon” had hammered his hand, obviously referring to Roczen…
