Michigan State basketball lands Antonio Pemberton, a 5-star 2027 PG
Tom Izzo picked up another elite recruit to kick off his next class.
Five-star point guard Antonio Pemberton announced Friday, Sept. 18, he will play for Izzo and Michigan State basketball, the first commit in the 2027 class for MSU.
Pemberton chose the Spartans over seven other finalists: Boston College, Creighton, Kansas, Marquette, Ohio State, Tennessee and UCLA.
"When I was there on grind week, the energy, the love, the community, from the coaching staff on and off the court, that's what pushed me to commit and just the love from everybody at Michigan State was amazing," Pemberton said in the 247 Sports livestream announcement.
