East New York shooting: Man killed on Crescent Street in road rage incident, manhunt underway
EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) — A manhunt is underway for the gunman who fatally shot a man in Brooklyn late Friday night in what police say stemmed from a road rage incident.
It happened just before 10 p.m. on Crescent Street near Stanley Avenue in East New York. Surveillance cameras from a nearby home captured two drivers in some sort of altercation. Then, gunshots rang out as the car involved swerved around the moped. 27-year-old Gurdeep Singh was left to die in the street.
A neighbor who gave only her first name saw all the commotion.
"The police are investigating. We don't know who is this guy, but we really feel sorry for him," Sumaya said, "we really feel sorry for him," Sumaya said. "All of a sudden there's a lot of ambulance and police cars, and it was really so scary."

Man fatally shot in possible road rage incident in Brooklyn, police sources say
A man was shot and killed in Brooklyn on Friday night in what police sources say may have been a road rage incident.
Police say they got a 911 call around 10 p.m. reporting a shooting on Crescent Street near Stanley Avenue in East New York. When officers arrived, they say they found a man who had been shot in the chest.
Paramedics rushed the gunshot victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 27-year-old Gurdeep Singh, of Queens.
Surveillance video obtained by CBS News New York shows what appears to be two people fighting in the street, then a flash of light from apparent gunshots. One person then falls to the ground, and the other gets in a car and drives off.
