UConn WBB Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule
STORRS, Conn. â The 12-time national championship-winning UConn women's basketball team will once again play a gauntlet as the program announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule Monday.
Ten of UConn's 2026-27 non-conference opponents competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Those 10 also finished last season in the top 25 of the final NCAA NET Rankings: No. 3 South Carolina, No. 5 LSU, No. 6 Michigan, No. 8 Duke, No. 11 Louisville, No. 12 Iowa, No. 15. Maryland, No. 16 Ohio State, No. 20 Notre Dame and No. 25. Tennessee.

UConn unveils women’s basketball non-conference schedule
STORRS, Conn. (WFSB) – The UConn women’s basketball non-conference schedule features an array of teams that ranked in the top 25 last season.
Opponents include South Carolina, LSU, Michigan, Duke, Louisville, Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Tennessee.
UConn said it will compete in four marquee neutral site events. UConn faces South Carolina in the Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Nov. 24 at Mohegan Sun. The Huskies travel to Boston for their first game at TD Garden on Nov. 28 vs. Duke.
UConn faces Maryland in the third annual Women’s Champions Classic on Dec. 5 in Brooklyn, N.Y. The team will then finish the non-conference slate vs. LSU in the espnW Invitational on Dec. 20.

UConn women's basketball schedule packed with must-watch matchups
The UConn women's basketball team, winner of 12 national championships, will renew a slew of rivalries during the non-conference portion of their 2026-27 schedule.
The slate, which was announced Monday, Aug. 17, includes matchups with South Carolina, Tennessee and Notre Dame.
UConn will face Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks on Nov. 24 at the Hall of Fame Showcase at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. This will be the first meeting between UConn and South Carolina since the 2026 Final Four where UConn coach Geno Auriemma got upset near the end of the loss that ended the Huskies’ perfect season, yelling at Staley before leaving the court.
