'Baylen Out Loud' star Baylen Dupree diagnosed with endometriosis | Exclusive
After grappling with Tourette Syndrome for most of her life, Baylen Dupree-Dooley is now facing another diagnosis.
In USA TODAY's exclusive sneak peek for the Aug. 4 episode of "Baylen Out Loud," the advocate, 23, is diagnosed with endometriosis.
"In your case, based on symptoms, you have endometriosis. But, I don't see any evidence that you have invasive endo or ovarian endo, which is good," Dr. Melissa McHale, a surgeon at the Washington Endometriosis Clinic in Washington, D.C., tells Dupree-Dooley, who is sitting with her then-fiancé Colin Dooley.
Dr. McHale then explains Dupree-Dooley's options, which range from doing nothing to medical management through birth control to suppress symptoms or having her endometriosis excised surgically. She also notes that some people with the condition experience infertility while others don't, adding that the only way to know would be trying to conceive.
