Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With SUV In Pasco County
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 30-year-old New Port Richey motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 2:50 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Whitetail Lane and Trouble Creek Road, police said in a news release.
Investigators said a 61-year-old New Port Richey woman driving a Kia Sorento was stopped at a stop sign on Whitetail Lane before attempting to cross Trouble Creek Road through a median opening.
As the SUV entered the intersection, it pulled into the path of a westbound Suzuki motorcycle traveling on Trouble Creek Road, troopers said.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV at an intersection in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said a 61-year-old New Port Richey woman driving a Kia Sorento was stopped at a stop sign around 2:50 a.m. Sunday at Whitetail Lane and Trouble Creek Road.
A 30-year-old New Port Richey man on a motorcycle was traveling west on Trouble Creek Road when the SUV crossed the median break and was hit by the motorcycle. The rider was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
