Alameda County FairSaturday, July 4 -12pm-11pmThe Alameda County fair has food, a carnival, animals and a fireworks show at 9:30-9:45 pm. Parking lots will close at 4:30 pm and gates close at 5pm, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. There will be free general fair admission for first responders with an ID until 5pm.

Full closure of Golden Gate Bridge, ramp closures for Fourth of July Fireworks Display at Golden Gate Bridge, July 4, 2026
The Golden Gate Bridge Authority will temporarily close the Golden Gate Bridge, and Caltrans will assist with lane and ramp closures on area freeways to support the City of San Francisco and regional partners as they host a Fourth of July Semiquincentennial fireworks display.
The bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Lanes on area freeways will begin closing at 8 p.m. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public, Caltrans will be closing lanes on US-101 in both directions starting at 8 p.m. Crews will be closing the Northbound US-101 off-ramp at Lincoln Boulevard in San Francisco, the Southbound US-101 off-ramp at Spencer Avenue in Marin County, the Northbound US-101 on- and off-ramps at Girard Street in San Francisco, the Northbound US-101/State Route 1 (SR-1) interchange off-ramp, and SR-1 at Lake Street.
