Mario Kart World update adds two new routes to Knockout Tour and more
A free update was just released for the Mario Kart™ World game, available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system. Ver. 1.7.0 adds two new routes to Knockout Tour, plus a new feature that lets you place stickers in Photo Mode.
Knockout Tour is a mode where you race from one end of the vast world to the other. It starts with 24 drivers, and if you don’t place high enough by the time you reach each of the five checkpoints… you’re out!
Now, two new routes are being added to Knockout Tour: Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally.
These new routes become selectable once you clear at least one Knockout Tour rally.

Mario Kart World has just received a hefty 1.7.0 update. Nintendo Switch 2 users should be seeing the version roll out now.
This update brings quite a lot to the table, with the headliner being two new routes in knockout tour. They have also added the ability to use unlocked stickers in photo mode, balance adjustments, and a whole lot of miscellaneous bug fixes. On top of that, Nintendo has also confirmed that six more knockout tour routes will be added in the future.
