Casio's New G-SHOCK x Pokémon Watch Brings 30 Pocket Monsters to Your Wrist
Casio has officially collaborated with Pokémon, releasing an ambitious new watch that puts 30 pocket monsters on your wrist.
The watch giant has announced the GA110PKM-7A, a full-sized G-SHOCK built in honor of the Pokémon franchise's 30th anniversary.
According to Casio America (via Yahoo! News), every previous Pokémon-branded timepiece lived exclusively on compact Baby-G silhouettes. This one rides the bold, oversized GA110 platform.
The watch's colorway pulls directly from the original games. Red, green, and blue accents run across the hands, buttons, dial, and bezel, nodding to Pocket Monsters Red, Pocket Monsters Green, and Pocket Monsters Blue, which launched in Japan in 1996. The franchise later crossed overseas two years later as Pokémon Red and Blue.
