Modder closed his The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on UE 5 – Nintendo lawyers are not involved
PC gamers have long awaited the "full version," but in the end, the project was decided to be shut down.
A whole era in the modding community recently passed. The developer under the nickname CryZENx, who had been developing a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for about ten years, announced the closure of the project.
However, it's not about Nintendo's lawyers — CryZENx did not receive DMCA strikes (for copyright infringement); it was his own decision. Now the modder is thinking about the next projects he could work on, and is conducting a poll among players:
Among the options are working on MDK, Turok, Twilight Princess, Donkey Kong 64, Metroid Prime Hunters, Sonic Adventure.
