The DC Universe franchise will finally resume this summer as the next comic book installment will focus on another iconic hero.
Following Superman's big success for the DCU's Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" line-up, 2026 will put the spotlight on a different beloved Kryptonian character. After making her brief but memorable introduction towards the end of David Corenswet's installment, Kara Zor-El is flying back to the big screen in just a few weeks, and it appears that a very popular version of Krypton's last son had a key role to play behind the scenes.
In a new interview with the Raiders of the Lost Podcast, Milly Alcock revealed that her costume in the Supergirl movie actually has a very neat connection to Reeve's Superman. The House of the Dragon alum explained that "my cape in this film was remade using material from the original Superman cape. I think that they found there was like 16 meters of that material so that’s in the back of my cape now."
