Adam Montgomery’s murder conviction for death of daughter Harmony overturned

Montgomery was convicted of second-degree murder and second-degree assault in 2024 and sentenced to 56 years to life in prison in connection with his daughter's death, but the Supreme Court overturned the murder charge Thursday, saying that keeping the two charges together jeopardized his right to a fair trial.
