I-75 S reopens in Sarasota after crash leaves 3 hurt
SARASOTA, Fla. — A multi-vehicle crash shut down part of I-75 South in Sarasota on Wednesday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded just after 2:30 p.m. to I-75 just past Fruitville Road. Troopers confirmed to 10 Tampa Bay News that three vehicles were involved and three people were injured in the crash.
Traffic cameras showed emergency vehicles on scene, with traffic backed up for several miles. As of 4:30 p.m., all lanes have reopened to traffic.
