CenterPoint Energy prepares for more storms
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Following Monday afternoon’s severe thunderstorms across southwestern Indiana, CenterPoint Energy says it is preparing for Tuesday night’s storms.
Officials report over 95% of CenterPoint Energy customers maintained power during Monday’s severe weather. All CenterPoint Energy customers impacted by Monday’s storms have been restored. Crews worked through the night and Tuesday morning to restore service.
According to CenterPoint Energy, it remains prepared for additional severe weather to move through the region Tuesday afternoon and into that evening.
