Chelsea teenager Jesse Derry was taken off on a stretcher after a clash of heads and an eight-minute pause in play on his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest on Monday.
Derry, 18, was forced off following an aerial collision with Forest’s Zach Abbott in the penalty area on the stroke of half time at Stamford Bridge. He received treatment on the pitch during a lengthy delay, before being replaced by Liam Delap in a concussion substitution.
