Fifth Third Bank Opens In Frisco With $700M Expansion
A new national bank is entering the Texas market, starting in Frisco. Fifth Third Bank opened its first Texas financial center in Frisco, marking the beginning of a broader expansion strategy that includes plans for more than 250 locations statewide by 2029.
The new branch is located at 17 Cowboys Way, inside the Frisco Business & Innovation Hub, placing it at the center of one of the region’s fastest-growing areas.
The Frisco location serves as the bank’s entry point into North Texas, positioning it to grow alongside the area’s continued population and business expansion, while also making an early effort to connect with the local community.

Fifth Third Bank executives are reexamining their North Texas office real estate footprint after acquiring Comerica and "actively" pursuing a few different sites while also beginning planned branch expansion.
Questions remain about whether the bank will shift more of its corporate functions to Frisco or keep them at Comerica Bank Tower in downtown Dallas.
But there is at least one other potential option. Records obtained by Dallas Business Journal through an open records request show Comerica had been exploring a significant office in Uptown months before the Fifth Third acquisition was first announced in October.
