WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump says that Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis is looking for a job in his administration, according to reports.
DeSantis has expressed interest in becoming secretary of defense or being on the Supreme Court, six sources told the Axios news outlet.
DeSantis is currently serving his second term as governor and cannot run for a third term.
Another source said that Trump likes DeSantis and the attorney general job is unlikely.
Earlier this year, Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi and replaced her with Todd Blanche, who has been Trump’s personal lawyer.
