8 teams unveil new City Connect uniforms — see them all now
It’s all connected. The past to the present and the people to the places, with baseball serving as a bridge.
Eight clubs unveiled a new wave of City Connect uniforms for 2026 on Thursday, and the bold new looks for the Braves, Orioles, Reds, Royals, Brewers, Pirates, Padres and Rangers were billed by MLB as reflective of “the energy and pride of each club’s community, offering bold and expressive interpretations that celebrate both team history and what’s ahead for the game.”
First launched in 2021, the City Connect brand of alternate uniforms have presented teams in novel color schemes, typefaces and graphics that are designed to reflect cultural aspects of each team’s home city. Teams are able to rotate in a new jersey after three years to debut a new look. For each of the eight teams involved in Thursday's announcement, this is the second installment of City Connects.

WHEN RONALD ACUÑA JR. first saw the Atlanta Braves' new City Connect uniform — baby blue, with an old-school "Atlanta" script across the chest — he fell in love.
"We're going to win a lot of games in these," Acuña said.
Acuña is a three-time All-Star who loves making fashion part of his game. Last year, he modeled for a Nike underwear campaign. He was among a select group of players who got a sneak peek at the 2026 uniforms in early February. For Acuña, on-field fashion is all about staying loose and "needing to be fresh."

The all-new Red City Connect threads arrived April 9. The Reds will debut the City Connect jerseys on April 11 when they face the Los Angeles Angels at Great American Ball Park.
"Red is at the center of this next chapter in our City Connect story," Karen Forgus Bowman, Reds' chief communications and community officer, said in a statement. "Bringing it forward in this fresh new way speaks to the energy of today's players and fans being rooted in the eras of Reds baseball that continue through them."
