Nebraska forward Quentin Rhymes plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Quentin Rhymes is set to explore his options after a limited freshman season. The Nebraska forward plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos, marking the first offseason departure for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The portal window opens April 7 and runs through April 21, giving players a 15-day period to officially enter. As is standard, Rhymes will not be required to commit to a new program by the closing date, allowing him time to evaluate the best fit moving forward.
Rhymes arrived in Lincoln as an intriguing developmental prospect. The 6-foot-7 wing out of Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix signed with Nebraska over offers from New Mexico, Boise State, UNLV and UC Santa Barbara.
