NEW YORK — The Mets are riding high after winning their last three games on the road and taking a four-game series against the Giants over the weekend in San Francisco.
But those vibes took a hit during the off day when Juan Soto, who is dealing with a right calf strain, was placed on the 10-day injured list. He is set to miss action for two to three weeks.
The Mets will face that reality in their series opener against the Diamondbacks at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday at Citi Field.
