Scottie Scheffler arrives at Masters with 9-day-old son, Remy
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler arrived at Augusta National on Sunday, and he brought the whole family with him. All four of them.
Scheffler, who tends to keep his golf separate from his home life, had not shared any information since withdrawing from the Houston Open two weeks ago because of the impending birth of his second child. He said wife Meredith gave birth to a boy on March 27. They named him Remy.
His first son, Bennett, was born in 2024 before the PGA Championship.
"We didn't have very many good boy names, to be honest with you," he said.

The Scheffler family can officially fill out a golf foursome after the birth of son Remy, according to a tweet from Doug Ferguson of the Associated Press.
The world No. 1 withdrew from the Texas Children’s Hospital Houston Open on March 24 for family reasons. Scheffler and his wife Meredith welcomed baby No. 2 soon after.
Scheffler hadn’t spoken publicly about the couple expecting again, but Meredith had been seen with a baby bump, leading to plenty of social media banter on the subject, and she was conspicuously absent from the Florida Swing.
Big-brother Bennett, who was the Scheffler's firstborn, shortly before the 2024 PGA Championship in May, has received plenty of TV time, especially after his daddy wins, since his birth. Scheffler was world No. 1 at the time, then too, having won the Masters and RBC Heritage back-to-back in April before shutting it down and heading home to Dallas to await the birth of their first child.
