5-year-old girl abducted in stolen vehicle in Affton
AFFTON, Mo. — St. Louis County police are asking the public's help in locating a child abducted Monday morning in Affton.
Police said 5-year-old Alesia Dawson was taken at about 8 a.m. from the 8900 block of New Hampshire Avenue in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle has since been recovered, but the child remains missing.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert for the child just after 9:15 a.m. Monday.
Dawson was described as a Black girl with hair in four ponytails. She was last seen wearing a pink "Flower Power" T-shirt and blue shorts.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – An Amber Alert was issued Monday morning as St. Louis County police searched for a missing 5-year-old.
St. Louis County police said that Aleise Dawson was left in a running vehicle that was stolen around 8 a.m. in the 8900 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Affton.
Police said the vehicle was found, but Dawson remains missing. Dawson is described by police as a Black girl with four ponytails who was last seen wearing a pink “Flower Power” t-shirt and blue shorts.
