WORCESTER, Mass.– The Wisconsin men's hockey team has advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament! The Badgers will face No. 1 seed Michigan State in the regional final on Saturday, March 28, at 3:30 p.m. CT at DCU Center. The game airs on ESPN2 and the ESPN app.Â

The win sent UW to its first regional final since 2010, and it marks its first NCAA Tournament game win since the 2010 NCAA Frozen Four semifinals, snapping a five-game NCAA losing streak.

The 1-seed Spartans are playing the 3-seed Wisconsin Badgers in the regional final of the 2026 NCAA Hockey Tournament on Saturday, March 28, at DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The winner will advance to the Frozen Four in Las Vegas on April 9 to play the winner of North Dakota vs Quinnipiac, a regional final game taking place after the Michigan State-Wisconsin game.
