PHL security wait times, how long is TSA wait time in Philly
Temporary terminal security checkpoint closures continue at the Philadelphia International Airport amid a partial government shutdown.
The closures, which have been in place since March 18, have deferred travelers from three security checkpoints in the airport in an effort to "help optimize operations across other checkpoints," the airline said.
Here are the wait times for PHL security checkpoints as of Tuesday morning:
Live wait time updates can be found on the airport's checkpoint hours page.
As of Tuesday, March 24, TSA security checkpoints at Philadelphia's Terminals A-West, C and F were still closed.
While these checkpoints are closed, all terminals remain open and accessible. Passengers flying out of Philadelphia can still get to those terminals once they pass security at other checkpoints, the airport explained.

Philadelphia airport travelers adjust to checkpoint closures amid TSA staffing shortages
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Travelers arriving at Philadelphia International Airport on Wednesday encountered closed checkpoints as the partial federal government shutdown continued to strain TSA staffing.
The security lines, however, weren't nearly as long as they were at other airports across the country.
Some passengers said they arrived hours early, unsure how long it would take to get through security. For most, it wasn't a long wait.
"I've been following it for a couple days. I saw they were closing a few more terminals last night, so we got here early," one traveler said. "We have pre-check, but we didn't want to risk it."
