Crimson Desert was one of the most anticipated games set to launch in 2026 and after years of waiting, it's finally out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Crimson Desert has topped 2M sales within a day
The studio is planning to "make improvements quickly" based on player feedback.
Newsbrief: Crimson Desert, the large-scale RPG by Black Desert Online developer Pearl Abyss, has topped 2 million sales within 24 hours of release.
"We are incredibly humbled to share that #CrimsonDesert has sold through 2 million copies worldwide," reads a Facebook post from the official game account. "Thank you so much to our fans, community, and everyone who has joined us in Pywel."
At the time of writing, Crimson Desert has mixed reviews on Steam, aggregating 6,850 entries. Alongside sharing the milestone, Pearl Abyss also made a general comment about the next steps for the game.
